my lender is us bank and the servicer is select portfolio servicing inc. they have put me on a forbearance agreement for possible loan modification two times. first i have paid 3,800 which is 500 more on my regular payment for 5 months then, SPS declined loan mod. with the reason that our income does not support it. i talked to them and told them that i want to keep my house. then they agreed and put me on another forbearance agreement which i have paid again on time in the amount of 3,300 for three months then, they have declined my modification for the second time due to the same reason. now my house is schedule to be foreclose next month (october 23). i called them and again another forbearance agreement and they want 7,500 down payment and 4,200 for two months to process for possible loan modification. i really don't know if this is right, they had sent a document that i need to return to them before sept.17 2010 together with 7,550. please help me, i dont know what to do, i really want to keep the house, but it seems that they only get the money, then deny my modication again.

Citi-mortgage denied my loan mod. after 8 months. Imediately they sent letter saying I was over $2000.00 in default. Went into forebearance plan to repay ins and taxes they said I owed. Recently I filed bankruptcy and Citi said my forebearance plan was no longer good and if I do not pay approximately $4000.00 by end of bankruptcy I will lose my home. My payment has gone from 379.00 to 547.00 to 704.00 . I am on disability and can not handle this. The program they said would help has crippled me. Help us Americans keep our homes. Thanks

Citi-mortgage denied my modification after 8 months. They sent letter saying I was over $2000.00 in default. I had been paying my own taxes and home ins. but they are now paying and my escrow delinguent amount keeps going up. They told me if modification was denied they would not put me in escrow and pay my ins and taxes. My house payment went from 379.00 to 547.00 to 704.00. I am on disability and can barely pay 379.00. Now I am in bankruptcy and Citi-mortgage says my forebearance agreement is void and if I do not come up with $4000.00 in default by end of bankruptcy they will take my home. This has been a constant nightmare.

Chase mortgage is one of the WORST! you get different answers every time you call. i've been working with them since 2009 and nothing resolved yet! just deeper in debt after i followed CHASE MOR. instructions to miss 2 pymts in order to qualify. did a 'verbal' trial for 3 payments and was told i would not get any paperwork on this. finally, after emails to the CEO, got a ltr stating denied for the mod but then received a FEDEX package with the same loan papers to fill out AGAIN! called for status and rep stated she used to work on FHA's and CHASE should be using my net vs my gross. using my gross shoud i could pay an extra $1000 per month! NOT EVEN TRUE. if i brought home my gross, then sure i could afford it.

The mandatory help that should be given to the public is never going to come in time to help me, but I pray for it to be there for everyone who rightfully deserves it. Its the very least that we, as tax payers who bailed out the banking industry, deserve!!!

Bank of America has been jerking us around for almost 7 months now, with letters saying they need more documents, we call they say they don't know why we were sent the letter, being told we were denied for not sending the documents and then after talking to them they say they have the documents and will file an appeal... could go on for hours about the hours and hours we've spent on this only to never get a clear answer. Now we have to worry they will try to foreclose on us when we've never been late on a payment. This program is NOT helping homeowners!!

We have had nothing but difficulty with our mortgage servicer OneWest bank since they took over the failed IndyMac bank. They assumed our loan, and raised our payment over $500. After begging, pleading, and submitting our HAMP paperwork in October 2009, we were approved for a mortgage loan modification under this program and placed into a trial modification 2-1-10, and have made 7 successful payments under the trial. Unfortunately, I had to file bankruptcy in Feb 2010 due to a downtown in the housing and local economy here in California. I am a flooring contractor and my business has declined. My spouse works for a well known HMO and has documented and decent income.Thank god for that because that is what has kept us going! The bankruptcy was discharged under Chapter 7 in May 2010. We signed an intent to reaffirm our mortgage with IndyMac/OneWest bank prior to this discharge. It was our intent and hope to remain in our home. This month (Sept 2010) I was told on the phone by my lender that I was disqualified from HAMP, and my payment has gone from $930 to over $2000, which I cannot afford. That's why I requested "help" in the first place! They said I was disqualified for not signing and returning the final modification paperwork, but we NEVER received ANY modification paperwork from them. They have not even as much as told us what date they sent the paperwork to us allegedly. We have been adamantly asking for this paperwork since payment #4!! Surely if we had received it we would of signed it and returned it. We have NOT even received an official denial of our permanent loan modification. The bank claimed they sent the permanent loan mod docs to our BK attorney, but he says he has nothing from them regarding permanent modification! Now, we've been asked to re-apply for the HAMP program, re-submit income documents, proof of occupancy, profit and loss statement since I am self- employed, pay-stubs for my wife, and in the meantime my payment is unaffordable and I am in imminent risk of default. They say the banks dont want your house, and it costs them to foreclose on your home and they loose money. What a joke! Homeowners like myself all across this country are being forced out of their home. The American people are being lied to over and over again, and there is no recourse for those of us who want to pay something and stay in our homes. The American Dream has become the fleecing of hope, dreams, and bank accounts, and is nothing but a game of lies and deceptions by the banks in this country. A nightmare that has no end in sight..

I have applied to the make home affordable plan at Citimortgage. In Feb, we are now in August going into Sept and they have not been able to resolve my application and claim I'm missing paper work each time I talk to them and now they say I owe over 3,000 to them in late charges. I have made every single one of my payments to them on their "trial plan" so why would I be delinquent? No one can give me a straight answer. I have looked online and it seems a LOT of people have the same problem, far worse are getting foreclosed on due to their incompetence. I will join any class action suit against them as well. They took my money as payment and in the bail out as tax payer. I need another way to file a formal complaint against them but I'm also writing you. Please research this problem and you will see that there is a long long list of people with my same problem. They DO NOT help and are only make the housing problem a bigger one by giving people the run around. I have all the names and employee id numbers that I have spoken to in the past 6 months. Every time I call its a different story. I hear they get compensated by the governement for each person they have in the program yet they aren't helping anyone. I have copies of everything sent to them with confirmation numbers that they have recieved it.

Applied for HAMP with BofA in July 2009. They never contacted me again until May 2010 to say my home being foreclosed upon. In July 2010 sent me letter explaining reason, but they were incorrect. My appeal was validated in August 2010 and now they sent me letter stating they are denying HAMP. They gave no reason in letter. I could go on and on about all I've been thru with them, but you've heard it before from others. BofA received bailout from us when they were down, and now is attempting to gain more funds from us thru foreclosures/resales. This is not what economic recovery looks like.

Bank of America led me on for over a year, thinking I was going to get a loan modification. They are foreclosing without a proper Notice of Default being filed against the property. I did know my property was in foreclosure, and sale is soon, still no official notice.

Please help. The Mortgage companies are getting their incentives for helping us with the trail period and then they tell us we are denied because we don't make enough money- why would we be asking for help if we made enough money to make the payments?- something needs to be done.

Filed for the loan modification(HAMP)through CENLAR Loan Administration servicer for Chase Home Finance LLC. They would not communicate with us as to the status for nearly a year. When we did get through to talk to a person they would not allow us to make payments until it was approved. When we finally did get correspondence it was from their foreclosure attorney. HOPE got involved and had them redo the HAMP package. They did the same thing again, now our home is in foreclosure and they are saying we owe them $21K plus in arrearages and fees. They are trying to say we got so far behind because we called and told them we moved to Georgia and that is where they sent all correspondence to for almost a year. FRAUD - FRAUD - FRAUD. We should be protected against these types of companies.
