I have been in the modification process since 7/09 it is now 8/10 and after BOAs mess up with a notary issue (never knew there was a notary ink stamp and wasnt told so they didnt see the seal on the scanned document) they denied our modification and were told to start over. I should not have to start over this should have been complete months ago! I have still not gotten an update from BOA about the modification its just still in "review". This is getting ridiculous.

I am just beginning a Loan Mod Application w/ B of A. Have no confidence what so ever that I will receive any help. But, have no choice but to try or loose my home! I have a small retirement income and a job which is Commission only based. I know I qualify but don't believe the Bank will even consider me.

Hardship Letter. I purchased my home in August 2006. At the time of my purchase my business was doing very well. I am a Cabinet Installer and worked as a Sub-contractor for Ideal Interiors, installing cabinets in new homes. By the end of 2007 work slowed down almost to a halt. I went from working full weeks to a week per month. Prior to my purchase, my son was diagnosed with Stromal Tumor in November of 2002. Timmy?s Surgery went well and we were told that the chance of the Tumor returning was minimal. In April of 2008 we took Timmy in for a routine check-up and found out that the Tumor had returned and surgery was imminent. We had the surgery in April and was informed after the surgery that he needed Kemo. This was a difficult time for us as a family emotionally ,financially and physically. We used up all of our savings to keep our mortgage current for as long as we could hoping that things would improve. It got worse and by August 2008 we start missing payments. I tried hard to find other jobs to compensate for the loss, but it was not enough. With the added responsibility of caring for Timmy?s needs and that of the house hold I have now turned my attention to the commercial industry. I have just started with a company that does all commercial cabinetry and I am hoping that things will improve so that I can continue to care for my family and keep my home. That worked for about a year in providing for us and now , because of being slow I am getting no work. I am now starting a new job at Killian Hill Auto Center which I started in August 16th 2010. I am not a quitter I keep learning new things to provide a place for my family and to keep my son as comfortable and feeling at home as much as I can. Timothy is finally making the adjustments he need to cope with his situation in life. He is also finally adjusting to his school and for me it would be devastating for him to know that he had to move. We, like Timmy has made this our home and pray that we can keep it despite the challenges we face. Your consideration in this matter will be greatly appreciated by my family. Thank You Joseph Davis 678-725-2524 Select Portfolio Servicing Inc is my servicer and they have not been able to fulfill their word. I have been on a trial Modification for almost a year and now ia being told that i do not qualify for the trial payment of $915.00 but a payment of $2100.00 which i cannot afford.

I am in my 7 month of trial payments with Bank of America home loans and I am getting the run around, saying I never sent in documents I have sent in many times, and now they are posting my payments which have been made on time every month incorrectly to harm my credit

My home is being scheduled to be sold at a foreclosure auction in 3 weeks. I was 2 payments behind when I applied for loan modification assistance in March of 2009. I was placed on my 1st trial which was 6 months instead of 3 and cancelled because they said I failed to satisfy all the requirements (not true) and I had proof of all the faxes, calls, etc to no avail. I was given a HAMP trial mod in Sept 2009 starting in Oct 2009 and after complying they told me in March 2010 I was denied. I learned I had a negative NPV and I acce[ted a 3rd PT job but then was told the investors refused and I could not re-apply. 1 year later I went from $3k+ behind to almost $12k behind and they wanted it all increasing my original payment by $500 month. I hired a firm that specializes and they negotiated from Mar 2010 to July 2010 and then they were told no modification was possible - I must repay it all but now it's money down PLUS $650 a month and still no modification. If I could afford that payment, I would never have applied. Had I known I would have been forced into foreclosure to correct a $3k debt, I would never have applied and would have taken that job to pay off the $3k....I can't do that with the money they are demanding because of the penalty of paying reduced payments for a year. I'm sure this program was not designed to force people into foreclosure but that is happening and people are given a choice as too much time passed putting them too far under. This can not be allowed to continue.

It"s time for our representatives in Florida to face the music for their shameful lack of ability(or motivation effect positive change to the residential real estate. When I vote in November There is only one issue I will be voting for: Which local, state, and federal representative helped me keep my house, which one helped the banks take my house or which representative just didn't give a darn one way or the other.

what a outrage, because of becoming unemployed we are going to lose our home in 100 days. After spending hours talking about loan modification and filling out form after forms spending at least 18 month working on it Aurora Loan said we could make a lower payment after 6 months they hit us with over $11,000 in back payments and fees and gave us 100 days to make it up or they will foreclose. We do not have the money so aurora is going to steal our home and leave us homeless. Aurora Loan brought our mortage from another bank without our knowledge. Help us stop this action

At this point it is a daily struggle for me to not break down from all of the stress, and worry. My heart aches when I look into my young childs eyes, and fear that our home which we love may soon not be ours. Please do something for us the people of America. The hard working middle class is the heart of America, and we are losing our homes, and everything we have worked so very hard for.

We are quickly reaching a boiling point. Some 'body' had better pay more than lip service attention to the twisted black corners homeowners are being backed in to. Consistent abuse and indiffernce to homeowner's needs 'they' were paid handsomly to address - can not go on indefinitely. The banks never ending lying, cheating, oppressive tactics and unsatiable greed will be their undoing- history has shown, sooner than later we pray... You will reap what you sow.

People are not being helped by the banks, in fact, the process is causing people to lose their homes. I asked for help from Bank of America while I was still current with perfect credit. They out right lyed to me so many times, I have notebooks full of conversations and now after 9 months my credit is ruined, I was denied HAMP and they say they can not even tell me why I was denied so I can check for error, even though HAMP says they need to mail me this information, they say it will take 45 or more days( which really means another 4 months! ) Ask ANYONE who has gone through this is is just crazy. They know they are not legally required to do anything, so they do anything they want.
