This bill will provide hope on staying back for aging smart kids where kids need Green Card status to study their interested area. Now home country is changing on bright future for kids on their study of interest, and it might show them alternate path for their future, which is not good for parents, where parents wants to stay with kids, now long queue in visa status of 25 to 50 years will not provide any benefit to kids. Please support the HR 213 bill to notice and credit smart hard working people.REPORT COMMENTS

Living in this country for more than 6 years and my sibling and her family being here for over 10 years .. We pay taxes.. Just considering my family, we pay income tax of over 100K dollars. We are skilled and make more than average american and we pay taxes more than average american. We are still waiting for our green card and we probably wont get it for another 8 years or so looking at the priority dates. This law is a key for so many lives like us in this country.REPORT COMMENTS

This is a must for thousands of suffering families. I want to buy house and settle down. Lot of people on H1B have the money but no courage to spend the money to buy home or newer cars etc. We do not know what to do with our and our kids lives as we have been waiting for last 9 years and there is no hope as the backlog is clearing at snails pace. At this rate I'm assuming that it will take 50+ years for EB3 India. Please vote YAY on this bill and sign it into a law and help all those families who are hanging in uncertainty for more than a decade, though being a lawful, peaceful and tax paying individuals.REPORT COMMENTS

Oct 18th, 2016from Overland Park, KS writes:
Please take into account the potential backlog caused by this bill to people all over the world. Currently the U.S employment immigration is flooded by mostly Indian applications. This is the result of many big Indian consultancies, such as Infosys and Wipro, favoring Indians for their recruitment in the U.S and bringing them to the U.S to do I.T contracting work. This practice not only puts more and more Indians in the Green card row, but also suppresses wages for U.S citizens and residents. Abandoning the country limit will make the situation worse, as that will bring incentive to companies to bring more Indian people to the U.S and cause the backlogs for the rest of the world, even for Chinese. It also threatens the U.S middle class as they will see their wages less and less over time. Please fix the loophole in the H-1B law before addressing the fairness of employment Green card distribution.REPORT COMMENTS

I think its a matter of freedom above anything else. To choose your jobs, to secure the future of our children who are already citizens and being treated fairly and with an unbiased approach above anything else. We are the people who are paying taxes for years and getting red-taped by caps which is irrational. Its time to open the gates with the right set of keys.REPORT COMMENTS

Have been in States for 9 years now, 6 years on H-1B. The restrictions on my wait period won't allow to change job duties to advance career or start a business. Priority date is June 2013 and from current estimations need to wait for few more decades. H-1B has been one of the primary drivers for area of innovations in technology --boosting economy and jobs in process. But the uncertainty and restrictions presented by un-real wait periods presents risks of driving talent away.REPORT COMMENTS

USA is the place I have been staying for past 17 years still on H1B. Got married and had kids over here and invested most of my time and money here and also being a regular tax payer. I would request USA to kindly consider the immigration request based on the first in served basis as India and China is overly subscribed. Im still seeing a timeline of 15 years in case it has to be follow the current subscription :) . Not able to change jobs.Any help is appreciatedREPORT COMMENTS
