Police are here to protect and serve! I have the utmost respect for what they do, day in and day out. But it seems, that more and more, we read or see stories about excessive force! Something needs to change! And if there is excessive force used, officers need to be accountable, just like the people that they are policing! If an officer is held responsible for the actions of their partner, they are more apt to step in and handle the situation if the partner gets out-of line.
