Passing this bill would be greatly benefit both the USA economy and H4 visa holders. Lot of comments are against this petition claiming h1/h4 visa holders knew what they are getting into when came to the country. Its true, but things need to change with situation. Please approve this petition. -

Please pass the bill. I strongly support the proposed bill. This rule will allow a lot of experienced professionals to be able to work and help the American economy. It will encourage more dependents to get employment and increase the tax payers. A lot of them are currently sitting at home wasting their potential and expertise since they do not have work Visas. I never could understand the logic for letting the L-1 spouses work and not H4. About time it should change.REPORT COMMENTS

We are planning to move back to India if this rule doesn't pass as neither me or my wife don't really have patience to wait for 4-5 years until I get can get a green card. H4 spouses not being able to work in the US is like an insult to the injury.REPORT COMMENTS

By providing the EAD, we will suddenly flood the job market with lot of applicants who are willing to go to any extent to get job e.g. low wages, fake resumes, fake interview etc. Also, all H4 & their H1 spouses knew what they signed up for.
