Not only is this school extremely over priced, the wait times on financial aid, and "verification" processes are ridiculous and take many, many months! All I get is apology after apology!

I have a Bachelors and part of a Masters degree from Phoenix. When I withdrew because the material was literally a joke and did not begin to compare with my peers who were learning at other schools. NONE of my credits transfer to where I can finish my Masters anywhere else, and Phoenix told me I would have retake some classes because they have changed course numbering, so my previous courses no longer align with their current degree plan. (Same class, different name. They want financial aid to pay more money, thus more loans). I am DEFINITELY not going to give this school another red cent, so I am stuck not being able to finish my degree! I was a single mother when I began school here and they preyed upon young working adults just like me to get us "hooked" on the idea that this degree would help secure our futures, but I have literally been laughed out of interviews because of the school listed on my resume. I have been told repeatedly that the automated screening systems for government agencies (which is what my degree was supposed to allow me to gear my career towards) will immediately disqualify your application if University of Phoenix is listed on there. Even hand-screening of applications puts yours at the very bottom because the information "learned" is useless and well below par. One even sent so far as to tell me I would be considered much sooner with NO degree rather than a degree from this school. Their track record over the last 15 years should be enough to show that they are EXTREMELY deceptive in their practices and that it is the same story from MANY of their students. To say I feel betrayed, defrauded, and disillusioned is an understatement. Now with $86k in student loans hanging over my head, I cannot even begin to imagine how to breathe in this crushing debt load, and no job in my career field will ever begin to be enough to pay for these loans.

I paid $10,000 for a 9 month licensing program (TTT) for which NONE of my credits will transfer toward a master's degree. I guess I am the idiot, but I was desperate for a career change fast. Now I am stuck with the student loans and hesitant to take out more for an ACTUAL master's degree program. What a joke this is!

My degree is a joke. Literally. They preyed on me, being a single mother, without a job, and made promises about the degree of my education as well as job placement. I learned nothing, but now have this student loan hanging over my head. Most classes were unnecessary, and a waste of time and money. Federal funding should be taken away immediately.

I started with 4,000 dollars of debt, because I had to redue my financial aid application 4 times, they took so long to help me try to figure out what was wrong with it on THEIR side, that the window ended and I wasn't covered. It is now up to 16,000 and growing, and there's nothing I can do about it, and it was not my fault in the first place. It is a joke, and I am tired of getting the letters, phone calls, and having my credit RUINED because of this school screwing me over.

Adding $36,000 to my student loan debt to earn an MBA through University of Phoenix was and will always be the worst, most disastrous financial crisis I have been involved in. Predatory recruiting promised a degree that employers would seek, and that is simply false. They will put your resume at the bottom if they see it. I took the UOP degree off my resume, and it is painful to say, that is exactly what the problem was. Thanks to a government that won't make things right, we are all now sending our retirement savings to student debt incurred for a worthless degree.

$36,000 later through my GI Bill and post 911 The UoP school I attended has closed and I have an unfinished useless degree. Bad information is being given to students and they're misguiding hard working people. It's pretty pathetic to do this to anybody let alone veterans. This has left a financial burden on my family and nothing to show for it.

Sadly, my wife was swindled by them. She completed a two year degree and was never given her degree. She was told she needed two more years.

Sadly, I have not received one interview for a job in my field of study. UoP made empty promises, deceived students, and piled loads of debt on people that they will likely die with, only to have it taken from their estates, including me.

After 2 years of hard work, I find out that I am not eligible for an associates degree. The UOP says they do not offer it for my program. I do not want to go another 2 years and be an extra 20,000+ in debt for a bachelors at the age of 50. I was informed by the UOP I would need to attend another year + and would not be able to use 26 of my earned and payed for credits that I achieved with them. I would am not sure how or why I would choose to loose credits that I have paid for to earn a degree that I am only 4 credits from now for an associates. I worked many hours to complete these classes and maintain a 3.08 GPA while holding a full time job and being a single mother. This college will not receive another cent of my hard earned money. I am truly disappointed in not have a degree that I earned. I am almost 20,000 in debt now for nothing but 2 lost years of busting my butt and loosing time with my family and friends. Pathetic.
