40,000.00 in debt for a two year degree is just absurd. I worked hard my whole life to get where I am and I am farther in debt now with my degree than I've ever been.

I was another unlucky person who was stalked and lied to by a UOP recruiter. Even going as far as to tell me that I had rewards that I didn't need to pay back. They also gave me my loans without ever verification that I was eligible to attend. I did not have a high school diploma nor a GED. And I did not test into any programs. I was lied to and mislead multiple times.

I currently owe over 60,000 dollars and still after years am not able to use my degree in business, I was told over and over by my advisors that I need to just keep applying and something would come, eventually I got a job but at the help of my friend, I'm not making close to enough to cover my bills and student loans and will probably lose everything.

UoP took my loan money, then sent it all back and billed me directly for the money they returned after I left due to their inept education system. They even sent me a PAST DUE bill and a threat to send me to collections before I even received the first bill for the money I don't owe them. Please help. I have been told, recently that the BSHA I was pursuing wasn't worth the paper on which it would have been printed.

I obtained my Bachelor's in IT in 2013. I was unable to find a good job that paid over $12.00 an hour. I have not been able to find a steady job since I graduated. I finally went back to school again to earn some certifications in IT. After I started receiving my certifications I finally started getting interviews with good companies. I wish I would have know this before I went to UOP. I could be $10,000 in debt instead of $75,000 in debt. Three weeks ago, I finally was hired through a temp to hire agency for an IT job. I am still only making $14.00 an hour and there is a possibility I may not be hired full time. The funny thing about the job is, there was 6 of us hired and not one of them with me had any kind of degree. UOP should be shut down. They make students think they are going to be able to get high paying jobs once they graduate and that just isn't the case.

I received an Associates Degree in Psychology from there, and then when I wanted to pursue a bachelor's degree in counseling to become a substance abuse counselor, the school counselors told me they had exactly what I needed and put me on my track... I voiced my concerns and they told me I was exactly in the classes I needed to be in and I would be a counselor after I finished my program. Well, since graduating with my bachelor's degree from the UOP, I cannot get a job anywhere. I get laughed at for my degree, and I owe $65,000 in student loans!!!!! I feel totally screwed over for going to that school and will never be able to pay off my student loans for a degree that is useless!!!

I was on academic probation and was pushed to started classes without approval of my financial aide going through for those classes. My advisers changed frequently without knowledge or an introduction of some type of the new adviser. The school is poorly ran!! I owe over $16,000 without a degree.

Pressured in to re-enrolling, before my MBA program changed and I'd have to retake courses, "supposedly". Received MBA, but couldn't afford it then and definitely can't afford it now. They had great councilors (sales force). Owe more now than original loans, after paying several thousand over the years. Graduated in 2007 from Las Vegas campus. Totally minipualeted students.

I attended UOP from 2007-2011 obtaining a Bachelor's in Business and have yet to obtain a job that pays enough or as much as they claimed I would be able to make in my State of residence. I have gotten plenty of experience in the field and yet, my degree is not taken seriously through potential employers. I have recently attended a local college to get my RN degree so I can afford to pay for the UOP degree while working full-time and raising kids with my husband. It has been nothing but a nightmare since I graduated trying to find that job that would at least allow me to pay back my tuition. I regret so much that I made the decision to listen to the recruiters and attend school there. Since I cannot get anymore assistance I am now unable to complete my RN degree because of financial difficulty. I trusted my educational advisors at UOP and believed what they told me cause it was their job to advise proper statistics on employment. Needless to say, it was all false. So as time passes I am stuck with paying off money that I do not have that was not a benefit to my family or myself. The sad part is this post may not mean anything after it is posted and nothing may happen. I just hope it will help others out in their decision to try to better their families and hopefully they will not wake up with the pit in their stomachs making them sick and disappointed with themselves. Not to mention the broken promises to their family that life will be better when mommy graduates.

I attended University of Phoenix from 2010 until June 2012. I received a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Administration with a concentration in Human Services. I wanted to become a parole or proabation officer in which many criminal justice occupations requires one to pass a physical test. Ive failed the tests three times and the highest job I can get with this degree is an 9.00 per hour security job. This school made it seem like I would have employers hounding me to join their company but heard only crickets once I received my accolade. Now I'm saturated in debt while continuing to work at the same dead end job I had when I began. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

My Master's degree from University of Phoenix is so pointless that I took it off everything I show potential employers. I owe 33,000 dollars that I will be paying off for YEARS. This is enraging and I feel like I was part of a group of students that did not know any better because online schools 10 years ago was still pretty new. I know better now.

Worst school EVER! My wife has spent 4 years try to obtain a 2 year bridge program for her RN degree, Not only are we in debt some 80 thousand dollars but she is still fighting the school for her diploma and transcripts. They were to have sent her trans to the state for her boards but now they are telling her she has to pay for them to be sent. She graduated in Dec 2016 and the state still does not have her transcripts AND its FEB 2017!! The instructors do not care about the students, they don't care if you pass or succeed. The more times that they can fail you, the more classes you have to take, the more money they make! Some of her class instructors didn't even teach what was on the test for that class! WORST school ever ! They should shut down this school, they claim to be accredited but who will accept the credits!

Unable to obtain my degree, course & books were extremely high! On top of that unable to transfer credits to state community college or even an accredited college! UOP wanted to tack on all kind fees, tried to cancel classes within the allowed time period, counselor would not do it! They stated just try. When you try to get back in touch with your counselor to confirm to definitely cancel class, leave voicemails, no return call, later found out got a new counselor. Had several problems with UOP administrators and counselors. Feel sorry for the younger and people that were intimidated by their staff , that contributed to students increased student loans and use their grants on worthless education experience. That contributes nothing but stress and heartaches to the students & their family that were manipulated and con'd by a college. Many have and still are suffering from UOP conning and manipulating paperwork & sales representative counselors that was not there for the best interest of students! They were there for the best interest of UOP, their pay check, & bonuses!

I have over $100,000.00 in student loans thanks to UOP. My degree is worthless, it has not helped me find a job. UOP said it would help me find a job after graduation, it did not and has not. I signed up for a mentor more than twice, that never happened. They said single mothers would get a break from the president. That never happened either. The career center at UOP does nothing by charge more money and never help find a job. You can do what they do on your own and get the same results. UOP is a joke, but guess the joke is on me as I will be paying on student loans until I die.

All my post 9/11 Gi Bill Benefits were taken by UOP, and I still had to get student loans to try and finish a degree. I'm only 16 credits away from a degree and cannot continue due to defaulted student loans from UOP. I feel the school did not set me up for success and made my transition to civilian life much more difficult.

I was under impression that most of my debt for school would be covered under financial aid. It wasn't until I was almost done with my bachelors that I became aware of how much debt I actually had. Now I find out from most places I have applied my degree is worthless since although they state are accredited they aren't recognized as such. I thought as a single mother I was doing a good thing. Now, my children are grown and I am over my head with debt.

My loans became so high through University of Phoenix that I reached my aggregate limit and now unable to finish my degree and afford to pay back my loans. One of the reasons I was unable to finish my degree is because they frequently change their program versions which forces students to take many classes that were not required when I started the program. Im asking fir help as I now owe over 62,000 in loans due to accruing interest.
