I have been involved in the pareental alienation affected on my granddaughter by my daughter's ex. She us now 14 and between her brainwashing and learning to manipulate the situation has now completely abandoned her mother, brothers and our side of.the family. It has been the most painful experience I have ever been involved in. Any attempt to degrade the relationship between a child and their biological parent, without just cause, should be catagorized as child abuse. This is a horrible pattern of abuse to teach a child who has yet to see the world through their own eyes. Every child has to believe a parent is not feeding them a poison apple to survive. When that trust is manipulated for personal gain and control, it is the very definition mental abuse. Parent Alienation is the poison apple.REPORT COMMENTS

I have not heard my son's voice nor seen him since July 5, 2013 after his father put me in a chokehold during a once a year visitation. Child custody was granted permanently to him after this event. The entire case was filed by him on false allegations to begin with. Family Court is the biggest mistake and a farce to the juducial system. It seems like the financial interests of the various parties (judges careers, court appointed psychologists etc., as well as many others that stand by ignoring or even feeding into this problem) supersede the well being of our kids, as well as all the others that are exposed either directly or indirectly. It appears that they don't want to be bothered, since it is much easier to push this problem down the line, when they can no longer be called out for it. Other countries (like Germany), have learned to better address this problem. It is a shame that a child's right to love both parents and not be dragged into this kind of situation, is worth so little, in the eyes of those that are meant to protect them..........REPORT COMMENTS
