I am a mom. I have one child, am divorced and remarried, as is the child's father. On November 9, 2011, the child's father and step mother kidnapped her. I immediately filed a motion to "show cause". There were 3 psychologists (one forensic psych), a GAL, and 2 attorneys. Nevertheless, The father kept me from seeing my child for nearly six months. I had to ask her to text me pictures pf her. The domestic court did next to nothing. The small army of professionals, listed above, charged me thousands upon thousands of dollars for nothing. the forensic psychologist charged me an initial retainer, then came back 3 more times demanding more money "in order to finish his report". He was paid over $8,000 and he NEVER produced the report. In Ohio, this is called fraud. The more I continued the legal action, the more I was threatened by the father and step mother to stop legal action. They attacked/slandered my reputation , they made false police reports, and, as a strange coincidence, my property and my horses were vandalized. Yet, this pales in comparison to what my child has suffered. She has hallucinated (dissociated) in public. She has signs of PTSD. She had physical signs of abuse-all horrible. The court and all of the court officials failed my child. The law failed my child. I thought I was the only one that had a story like this, until I read the stories of other broken hearted parents, on the Facebook PA groups. It opened my eyes to how widespread this has become. It was that "awakening" that gave me the impetus to share my story. Parental alienation is child abuse. Ironically, the law is more protective of animals being abused, in the state of Ohio, than it was for my daughter being kidnapped and abused. Had my daughter been a puppy, I would have had the State of Ohio's animal protection laws on my side! I will not stop campaigning until the laws are changed and parental alienation is considered criminal. Please save our children by making the laws tough enough to deter more parents from hurting their own child.REPORT COMMENTS

Please pass this Bill, it's been almost 5 years that we have not seen or talked to our granddaughter Rebekah Elisbeth Dean and her father Randal E Dean has not seen her talked to her over 5 years. We live in Ga. And her mother Jennifer Nichole Johnson Lawson whom lived with and married Derrick Lawson because he was in the Army. We new the lived in El Paso Texas and are now living somewhere in Missouri close to the Lake of the Ozark. This information was found when we think our Granddaughter Rebekah was trying to get intouch with her father using her moms fb account, a friends request showed up on my son's fb page while he was at work, when he tried to find it they deleted it. I went on their page's and got a lot of information and pictures of our beautiful granddaughter, but no physical address. Randal and Jennifer have had several court issued orders, and both have not complied to the orders, but she has said she was going to say Randal deserted Rebekah and have her husband legally adopte her. My Granddaughters well being is what is important she's a diabetic has had seizures from birth and asymtha. Her mom has told lies to the base police about us when we did a well fair check on Rebekah, she's told lies about my son. PLEASE STOP PARENT AND GRANDPARENT & FAMILY ALIENATION! IF THIS IS NOT CHILD ABUSE THEN WHAT IS IT!REPORT COMMENTS

Happening to someone I know right now. The early signs were there thru the divorce, however the judge did not want to be bothered by a trial, and threatened that if the divorce did go to trial over visitation there would be no shared parenting, thus even less rights to the father. The guardian talked to the children once (in front of the mother who is the alienating parent) so they said what she wanted them to say. After they talked to the guardian they even said they 'only said what mom wanted'. There needs to be more awareness on this! I see these children go thru hell everyday because their mother (still 18mo later) is persistent on not wanting them to have any feelings toward their father when he has done nothing wrong. It's damaging to the kids as well as the affected parent and their family.REPORT COMMENTS

I fought against this w.my ex&his new wife from the time our daughter was 2 y/o. She lost her hair from the stress! When she was 8 I finally lost her to them&its now been several years since we've been allowed to have any contact. And during the most important pre-teen years of her life!
