Wet foot dry foot is another US policy that should be abolished as a strain on our economy and supporting another group that HATES Americans. I don't say this to be racial or discriminatory. I base it on my experience of living in Miami Florida for the past 15 years. In my apartment complex of only 10 units, there are 4 filled with Cubans who are COMPLETELY paid for by our US Tax Dollars. They drive 2 cars, apartment paid for, food stamps and God only knows what else. None of which hold a job. WHY should I support these deadbeats ? Another useless law that drains our economy and of NO BENEFIT to the US or it's citizens. #DonaldTrump for president if he will stop this national liberal epidemic. And I am a registered Democrat. Soon to be a registered independent. I can no longer support a part that doesn't have the US and it's citizens best interest in their policy making decisions.REPORT COMMENTS

Unfair and again points up the HYPOCRISY of U.S. politics and "democracy". Talking about FIFA, there's got to be some backroom payoffs and/or payback that goes beyond "Cuba's communism". But again we want everybody else to be honest and transparent but our government often is not. The height of HYPOCRISY. The Emepor has No clothes on. He, the U.S. just like the emperor is the only one who is unaware of it!!REPORT COMMENTS

The U.S government needs to eliminate the ?Wet-foot, Dry foot?. Since the policy is not reflecting the U.S action in normalizing the diplomatic ties with Cuba. As the president aims to empower Cuban people and liberates their economy; WHY should the U.S keep the policy that contradicts its action by luring the Cuban to make fatal compromise to overcome their financial immobility by escaping? ?More effectively empower the Cuban people by adjusting regulations. The President is taking steps to improve travel and remittance policies that will further increase people-to-people contact, support civil society in Cuba, and enhance the free flow of information to, from, and among the Cuban people.?(Whitehouse.gov)REPORT COMMENTS

This policy was wrong from the very beginning. There is nothing special about Cuba. If Cubans don't like their government, they should change it, instead of counting on other countries. Stop illegal migration of cubans NOW! WE can support these people anymore!!! They are not political migrents, they are economic migrents just like most Latin Americans. No more free loadin for Cubans!!! They must obey and follow the rules other migrents do!REPORT COMMENTS
