It is time to stop this policy until we as a nation can take care of our own. I for one am seriously tired of working my butt off 10 hrs a day.. to see my hard earned money going towards people from other countries. Cubans that come here and do not want to work.. get free housing.. $9000 for showing up and more. This crap needs to end! I drive by the housing (apartments) that hard working Americans pay for.. get to see daily those driving hummers, Expeditions, or best yet - their golf carts. 12 Cubans entered the U.S. in Miami 09/15/2015 and the same night they are release to their families. They're not working hard for freedom in the U.S. the jobs in South Florida are simply given to them. Everywhere you apply for a job, the Spanish language is a requirement. As long as you speak Spanish in Miami, you'll get a job. I'm a recently college graduate with a Bachelor's degree and working on my Master's degree and I cannot get one opportunity in many entry-level position but I have seen many position given to many Cuban immigrants or Spanish-speaking citizens that speaks very little English. At $9000.00 a head, free Medicaid and Social Security, many Cuban immigrants DON'T EVEN NEED A JOB to survive. In South Florida the overall mentality is if you come to America, everything is free. Perfect example: a group of Cuban immigrants spent the night partying and fishing off a bridge in the Keys (refusing to pay for accommodations, refusing to contribute to the local economy). The battery died in their new Hummer from playing music. They expected the police to give them a jump. They were politely told no, pay for a tow truck or call a friend. This caused a flood of harassing calls to the police, stating they were being denied their rights. While this is only one example, it represents the all-too-common mentality of this group. Every time a fisherman is caught raping our resources, taking undersized or multiple fish? Cuban. A large group goes out on their $50,000 boat and it breaks down? Hell no, Cubans don't want to pay for Sea Tow, they expect the Coast Guard to rescue them (although they find out quickly that they won't, and have every family member call 911 screaming in Spanish that they demand free assistance). I have a million of these stories. I am disgusted with this policy being allowed to continue. No warning, cancel it immediately or they will literally rush the border, causing a dangerous situation to Key's residents. Short of sounding racist, teach them how to be American if they are already here. But stop promoting this idiotic policy and secure our border in South Florida!!!REPORT COMMENTS
