Daylight savings time is ridiculous and needs to go away. Let's get this done finally. I'm even for just picking a time and sticking with it. This changing back and forth is crazy.REPORT COMMENTS

Please lets set our clocks and leave them alone. The seasons are difficult enough to adjust to it would be so much better if we can let our body's natural rhythms stay in sync with the time and not be forced to have the shot to our systems twice a year.REPORT COMMENTS

I teach at a Title I school where many of the elementary aged kids walk to school alone. The darkness causes them to be late because they are afraid to walk in the dark and it is unsafe. They also go to sleep later because it is still light out and come to school having only 8-9 hours of sleep. Time to put an end to this!REPORT COMMENTS

As a mother of five children I have struggled with time changes. It is hard to get children to bed when it is still light out. Hard to get them up in the morning because it took them so long to get to sleep. I love it bright in the mornings. We can get more done before school/work. It takes a while to get used to the daylight savings time change. Everyone complains about the time change, but nothing ever gets done! Please end daylight savings time.REPORT COMMENTS

In current times, what good purpose does DST serve? Among all the obvious, known reasons for ending DST, having children standing in the dark waiting for their school buses is life-endangering. Please end DST and just let those who are affected by the lengthening of the light of day adjust their own personal schedules.REPORT COMMENTS

This is one more (highly antiquated) practice to disrupt, confuse and complicate life in America. The twice-a-year back-and-forth changes only lead to exhaustion and frustration. Get rid of it NOW.REPORT COMMENTS

DST began out of necessity but it isn't necessary anymore. Days are becoming longer on their own. When time moves forward, the children are standing out in the dark in many places waiting for school bus. We should not continue with DST just because "it's the way we've always done it"! There is really no good reason to continue!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Daylight savings time is very hard on me not just emotionally but physically add 2 well. The way it interrupts my sleep patterns causes all of my medical conditions to flare-up. Migraines, depression, fibromialgia and rheumatoid arthritis are all exacerbated by sleep loss. It usually takes me at least two weeks to adjust causing me to miss out on all aspects of my life. I miss work and time with my son all for a pointless shift in time that helps no one. It doesn't save power like it was meant to in war time, nor does it benefit farmers for the same exact reason no matter what the click days the time is power use and farm animals run off the sun. It was a useless expression of power and influence at its inception and it still is.REPORT COMMENTS

Daylight Savings Time has outlived its original intention and there is very little benefit. Daylight Savings Time used to begin the end of April and end the end of October; now it is starting in March and ending in November. It is a disruption to our human circadian rhythms.REPORT COMMENTS

The time changes at the end and beginning of DST cause increased illness, decreased work quality, and increased traffic accidents twice a year. We have NO legit reason to keep it other than "that's what we've always done", and PLENTY of reasons to get rid of it. For the sake of Americans' sanity (especially parents), can please we get rid of this antiquated practice ASAP?REPORT COMMENTS

Please Stop Daylight Savings Time. It is unnecessary and a complete nuisance to people, especially those who work. Having a normal and steady time without change is better on various levels, and would be consistently better for people as a whole.REPORT COMMENTS
