Daylight savings time is a joke. I work outside and quite often in the spring and fall we cannot start untill later in the morning because it is still dark. We receive no benefits whatsoever from daylight savings time. It is beyond proven that it saves no energy or money. However, there are many detrimental effects, including decreases in productivity and increases in traffic accidents. Our bodies were intended to have a natural pattern of sleep, which gets disrupted twice a year, in which we must readjust. Instead of causing all of these problems from which there are no benefits, let us consider ceasing this very antiquated and useless system.REPORT COMMENTS
