We're going on a week of cranky kids and fighting in my house due to the shifting of the clocks. Twice a year this happens. The kids have a hard time adjusting and the madness ensues. Thanks, Time Change! Appreciate the extra stress on my household for no gain whatsoever.REPORT COMMENTS

This is such a USELESS practice. Not only is it useless for saving anything, it has been shown by studies to increase energy usage by increased lighting/heating/cooling used on the opposite end of what the the time shift purports to save. It also causes more vehicular accidents in the spring when people lose sleep. America is already in the rears on our outdated imperial measurement system....can we please stop being the youngest nation that yet continues to hold on to the most outdated practices??!!REPORT COMMENTS

Pure madness, pure hassle. Use up more electricity because we have to turn on the lights sooner.REPORT COMMENTS

We live in contemporary times where it is no longer necessary to shift the clock by an hour to accommodate daylight. We are no longer agrarian. DST is nothing but trouble for really no benefit.REPORT COMMENTS

Research shows it causes health problems as the body thrives on regularity. More heart attacks etc occur around the time change.REPORT COMMENTS

It works ok in the summer, but it's a real bummer in the fall! You end up having to turn the lights on earlier in the evening, therefore canceling out any benefits of energy in the morning! Does any one else feel this way? I for one would really like to see this end. It's depressing to come home to a dark home and it makes the kids stir crazy not to mention the parents who feel they've missed the whole day.REPORT COMMENTS
