Every time there is a DST switch, I'm useless in the mornings at work for a few days. Some people may be able to handle it without noticeable effects, but some people like me handle it really badly. No way this is worth the lost productivity and the extra stress.REPORT COMMENTS

There is no reason for an OUTDATED practice that has been studied and proven to be no good on ones health. Sweden has studied the effect of daylight savings and found within the first few days there were more heart attacks and triggered depression easily with the lack of sleep. They also found within the first few days a rise in traffic accidents. With the rise in health care costs for everyone including the government you would think this would be enough to want to end such an out dated practice.REPORT COMMENTS

According to an independent case study in Indiana back in 2008 - the practice of daylight savings actually jacked electricity use in homes across one central U.S. state by up to four per cent. This is an antiquated practice that needs to go away. We are no longer farmers and harvesters.REPORT COMMENTS
