You are not saving daylight. There is still the exact amount of daylight each day. The problem is you are making us get up in the dark again and go to bed in the daylight. This makes no sense. It's not good for kids or people who need a routine, it throws everything off. Shouldn't we be "saving daylight" in the winter anyway??? THAT is when we need extra daylight not in the summer.

DST doesn't save anything, there's still 24 hrs in a day. DST is unnatural, unnecessary, a violation of nature and an assault on the mind and body.

I have signed a petition yearly on this and it seems high time to end this practice that serves no benefit. Productivity goes down accidents go up due to over tired drivers. Biorhythms are off due to the change in sleep cycle. Plus there are people who need to go to work early in the morning why does it need to stay light out until 9-10 PM. Please put an end to daylight savings time.

Daylight savings time literally kills people, with massive upticks in heart attack rates, vehicular accidents, and strokes. For what? A bit of "energy savings" that have never materialized? End it! Stop killing Americans for a needless tradition.

Daylights saving is stupid in every way, shape, and form. Not only is it causing accidents, but it's ruining our sleep schedule, our usage of time, and it's just a huge mistake!

Everybody who loves all the daylight and screwed up seasons, just get yourselves on up to Alaska. The money grabbers are behind DST. Do they allow their kids to walk to school in the dark, I hardly think so. God gave us seasons and times for a reason. They were all appropriate and functional for our bodies. So who decided to play God and change a natural occurrence? PUT IT BACK AND LEAVE IT ALONE, PLEASE,

For the love of everything, we don't need this anymore. Everyone hates it. It causes depression, car accidents, lost work time, and it increases energy uses. I don't care if we go to standard time or DST permanently, just pick one and commit.

please stop the clock movement back and fourth each year. It is so so good just leave is DST all year long. Famers do not benefit from DST.. they work sun up to sun down the time on a clock is irrelevant to them.. yet drastically effect commuters and the majority of citizens in the country negatively.

There is an increase of strokes and heart attacks for the few days following this change. We certainly aren't saving any lives, which is far more important than an hour of sunlight. Besides if we wait a minute - surprise - the days get longer anyway.

I absolutely HATE day light savings time. I do NOT like getting up in the dark and having it light so late in the evening when I want to get to sleep. Plus it's miserable on the body switching back and forth. Stop this idiotic practice !!!!!!

Please get rid of Daylight Savings time. This time change has always been very difficult to adjust to. An hour of sleep is automatically lost during this time change and makes it very hard to get up in the mornings. This lack of sleep affects all of us. If the daylight savings time is eliminated, there will still be daylight hours later in the evening, which a lot of people seem to enjoy. I personally do not feel that it needs to stay daylight until 9:00 pm each day. It makes it difficult to try and keep a child on a regular nightly bedtime schedule when it is not dark outside. I have never liked this savings time, and ask that you consider changing it. Thank you for your time.

Twice a year we must change our bodies internal clocks to accommodate this out dated system. Neurologically this is not healthy for any age. It disrupts structure and routine from children to seniors. Put an end to this and help keep America strong.

Set it either way and leave it. It is not doing its aforementioned job in the first place. It is difficult on its citizens and having control over the time is not something government should be concerned with. Have the time zones and all those places in that time zone at that time. Set it and leave it. Thank you. A concerned citizen.
