It cost 80k per year to house a single prisoner. Pedophiles have no ability to rehabilitate. Pedophiles who were chemically castrated are so sick, they've illegally purchased drugs to reverse the effects of castration. Rather than spend money to house a pedophile, we should be using that money to rehabilitate the victims which society failed to protect. If someone was raped or molested as a youngster, it isn't an excuse. Not everyone who was victimized grows up to do it themselves, it's society as a whole who fails these victims. I have seen cell mates convicted of murdering a child rapist which is absolutely obnoxious that the convicted criminal has more moral than legislators who continue to allow pedophiles to take up space in our prisons. To add insult to injury, this corrupted society releases these pedophiles. Children are handed a life sentence when raped/molested. They have to live with what was done to them for the rest of their lives. Yet, we spend money to house pedophiles? What a corrupted nation and people to not rid ourselves of the MOST inhumane in society. Pitiful. This country only pays lip service when it comes to caring for children, no society who truly cares for children would ever allow a pedophile to remain alive let alone get released.REPORT COMMENTS

As an agnostic person, I believe whole heartedly that child predators and repeat sex offenders should receive the death penalty. There is not sufficient punishment for their horrendous crimes. Their actions are cruel beyond measure. They should not live because their crimes never subside for the victims. They are worse that the Manson murderers. Please kill them because they are a significant and constant threat to the life of families. They are sadistic and cruel to children and animals. They deserve to die sooner than the rest of the population. They are deranged usually and cannot be treated by any means. They will reoffend at any point in time without moral conscience. They do not care about the consequences or the torture that the child victims endure. Please give them the death penalty. Seven to twenty minutes to die is not a long time.
