It's a want and need . Just because they are being punished we should still be able to satisfy each other.

If the prison systems want to truly be a part of the rehabilitation for thevoffenders, allowing conjugal visits as a reward for good behavior would be a start.

It would be awesome. I think that it would relieve so much stress on both the prisoners and the families. I know for a fact it would make my children happy if they could see their daddy and spend time with him.

I would love to have special visits with my husband... It would really help other inmates to have some sort of incentive to having good behavior... especially ones with longer sentences

Yes these are inmates but they are human beings. They will behavior much better with a little reward like this. This will keep homosexuality behavior from happening which will keep down sexual illnesses down in prison. Out would get them ready for home and never coming back because the family bonds are stronger and they're more familiar with each other. It's inhumane in my open and none of you couldn't just sit across from the person you love for hours without touching. They need to be treated like they're humans. Some of these people made those mistakes years ago and have been following the rules of the prison for years. Please please please help we as the family needs this too. I love in Louisville Kentucky but my husband is in prison in Missouri, so yes this is very important to me.

The ability to have a conjugal visit would create a better environment in prisons, not only for the prisoners themselves, but for the guards to. They would get less hassle from prisoners. For those prisoners that have a lot of time, it would be beneficial for them. They would have the ability to send quality time with their spouse or children. That is what this world is lacking, the "family" aspect in life. Not every prisoner is hard ass. They do love their family.

My fiancé recently went back to prison. We have a 1 year old and plan to have more children in the future. He is facing several years. He is a great man and father just had a rough upbringing and has been working to turn his life around. It's important that his kids know their father and I need a bond with the love of my life. He needs us to get through this sentence and continuing to better his left in prison and keeping him on track once released. Otherwise the cycle will continue as prisons throw people back onto the street and expect them to transition back into a family and life.

I think that people that are serving life in prison should be able to have these visits too they are already not ever getting out and it is important for the wife and husband to still spend what little time they can. It would encourage the lifers to behave

My fiance, the love of my life, has 10 years with 85%. We plan on getting married when he gets to his permanent camp, and conjugal visits would be so soulful to him and I, give him hope, preserve our love, he'd remember what it's like to have freedom. I am absolutely for conjugal visits.

This is something that should be done in every state, especially for married couples instead of breaking relationships why not use it as insentives for the family unit to come together.
