Why should they be able to apply themselves a higher paycheck if they are doing nothing.

You need to make sure all American's have health care as good as yours. You were elected to serve not maintain the status quo. We can't save the world. This is not the wild west where only the strong survive. Try going with a pay cut and no raise for 7 years. Also I have been working two jobs. My auto is 15 years old and I drive 80 miles to and from work almost every day and on weekends 50 miles to and from work. I don't call off even when I am sick. I have diabetes and my employers health plan offers nothing to help with meds. AHCA has helped me to get better coverage and meds for my condition. The plan is still not cheap. I ask you to find a way to fund it or give us a better plan with better coverage. The cost need to come down. The way health care was before is not working for all of us. Just by their inaction shows they don't care. We need to vote them out.

And besides health care reform that half the government continues to fight, again wasting taxpayer money each of the 50+ times they've fought it, what have they truly done in the past 20-30 years to help "the people".. Not a damn thing. Destroyed a productive middle class to further the needs of the few. Politicians are all bought puppets. We are no longer heard, but it's pretty hard to speak when there is a boot on our throats. We've gone pretty far off path in regards to government. If people knew more then just the first two sentences of the constitution they'd see the most important part... If our government stops fighting for the many over the interests of a few, it's our duty to throw out said government and correct what's broken. Tick tock

it is so easy for them to cut down on the spending to their constituents . while they continue to live off tax payer money and live the high life .making rules and cutting spending that does not affect them . if they want to cut pensions and social services . they should start with their own . it is baffling that people who vote for these a-holes are not concerned with their hypocrisy . letting everyone else pay for what they did to this country when they put a war on a credit card to China . let them pay for their mistakes . why are the average ppl paying while they live high on a hog ??

For 2 years I struggle, sold everything of importance to keep from being a problem for my parents and their retirement! Waiting for government to decide if I was eligible for disability, finally I got it at a cost! It took two years for them to tell me that my split shoulder blade, sternum crushed from my chest, category 3 detachment of my left arm and ribs that slip out if I strain in the toilet! 90,000$ should be the maximum after 5 years and get deductions for each scandal they are attached to! The 47 that are guilty of treason should loose all pensions and time in prison, real prison not federal!

As the majority of members of congress - house and senate qualify as millionaires they should not make laws pertaining to or be allowed to receive at the expense of taxpayers ANY perks or benefits not afforded 'regular' citizens of the United States.

Their pay should be the national average, and the health benefits should resemble the same cuts as their public sponsors. The co-payments should reflect equally.
