Military Investigators do not have the extensive training in homicide investigation's. I believe FBI should handle all cases involving deaths on installation's. OSI is more interested and trained in Force Protection, Drug, theft then homicide. -

A marine who wanted to commit suicide would not botch it in the manner of Col Stahlman's death. He had no reason to commit suicide and his death should be investigated fully - not perfunctorily.REPORT COMMENTS

As a Marine, I know it is important to the families of our military to have our deceased military members treated with the respect with which they served. Our families are our backbone and are the most important to us. Treat them respectfully too. Having our military members deaths beittled with false information is disgraceful and unsatisfactoryREPORT COMMENTS

It is my opinion that there should be a full investigation to any death deemed to be a suicide while serving in the military. Willene PaxtonREPORT COMMENTS

This is the right thing to do. Michael was an awesome human being! Any one who knew him would say so. Theses guys and gals defend us, our beliefs and our country. We owe this basic respect to all of them!REPORT COMMENTS

I have spoken on this before and still feel the same. I loved Mike as a son instead of an in law. He is one of the most honorable and fair men I have ever known. We have irrefuteable proof that this was a murder but big government is so encapsulated they can hide anything. Just remember, this could be your son or daughter. We must stand up and fight them. God bless America.REPORT COMMENTS

Kim Stahlman is my niece and Mike was my nephew by marriage. Mike gave his life to the Marines and for his country which he BELIEVED in with all his heart. Why, why, why is is so hard not to honor him by clearing his name from the stigma of suicide, which as a family, we never believed happened. He DESERVES an investigation to clear his name and give him the RESPECT that he EARNED. By achieving the title as a Colonel is the assurance of what he stood for and how diligently he had worked for so many years.REPORT COMMENTS
