Horse slaughter is illegal already. Horses cannot be slaughtered in compliance with the Humane Slaughter Act. Horses are not food animals and their veterinary medications and many other widely used products contain substances that are explicitly banned from the human food chain. Horse slaughter is a corrupt, predatory business where many of the horses are stolen or obtained by other fraudulent means. It makes absolutely NO sense to permit this illegal and immoral activity to go on.REPORT COMMENTS
