This is horrible. I lost 145 pounds and so blessed sick. Lost job because I couldn't get out the door. I really thought I was dying. Mine is caused by long term diabetes. We need a cure. My diabetes is controlled by diet and I still got gastroparesis.REPORT COMMENTS

Gastropraesis should be recognized as a disability as it is very challenging to maintain a job and life while dealing with this chronic disease. There are days I can't make any further from the bed to the bathroom. Please do your research and consider making Gastropraesis a recognized disability.REPORT COMMENTS

I have it due to a complication from a surgery to fix another super rare problem and not only did it not fix it, I now have gastroparesis and sma syndrome. Both are similar. I can't eat much and I can't drink much. I haven't been able to work for 4 months and I have only worked 4 months before they let me go cuz I wasn't able to do my job well. I took too many breaks. And called in sick too many times. If I lived by myself, I would no longer be able to pay for myself or food.REPORT COMMENTS
