Government has too much control over our private lives as it is. With universal health care the quality of our health care will collapse and we will see an even greater need for health care workers. There will be no incentive to go to medical school, nursing school, etc knowing that we cannot as healthcare professionals provide the quality of care that is needed. It is hared enough to provide and get quality care under the present system but it will be a nightmare if we have universal healthcare. Please vote NO on this issue and save our doctors, nurses, etc. Many present healthcare workers will especially doctors will leave the field presenting an even greater shortage of care. This is important to everyone, not just healthcare workers.REPORT COMMENTS

We cannot afford your "FREE" healthcare. Government spending is out of control already. There are private options that are not even being considered, and history shows that the government is not capable of providing efficient and effective services.REPORT COMMENTS

The intrusion of the Federal Government in our lives must stop. We cannot allow the government to destroy the best healthcare system in the world.REPORT COMMENTS

The government has never been efficient in providing any service (note bankrupt Social Security, etc.). The private sector can provide solutions. The Federal Government should have less, not more power over my life.REPORT COMMENTS

While I want to believe that your motives are pure (in the interests of the people), common sense tells me that it is anything but pure. You (Congress) have a motive--power, greed, influence-peddling, etc. People: leave our health care alone. Your record of involvement in my life is not good. What you (Congress) touch, you destroy. Leave it alone.REPORT COMMENTS

STOP THIS INSANITY. The wealthy, and the comfortable middle class are NOT responsible for the lazy, or the illegals who stand by and wait with hands out to get something that they think is free but that will come out of my pocket and yours, and eventually bring this country to screeching halt. A socialized medical system SUCKS. I am a Canadian now American Citizen ( and I did it LEGALLY) and believe me you do NOT want this country to adopt that system. You can kiss your health care and health care decisions good bye.REPORT COMMENTS

I am a senior citizen on Medicare with a supplemental insurance. I don't want the government deciding what procedures I should or should not have based on my age. We senior citizens have been paying into Social Security for many years so we earned the right to Medicare. If the government would stop supplying the Illegal aliens who have not paid into the system, there would be enough money in the Medicare program for all of us now and in the future!!!! No wonder California is bankrupt, all the welfare and freebees going toward the ILLEGALS who don't even pay taxes is inexcusable!!REPORT COMMENTS
