As a person, who was self employed most of his life, with chronic health problems I'm not looking for an entitlement, but truly "AFFORDABLE" healthcare. The problem is,without a "Public Option" this bill is useless. Insurance companies are not going to voluntarily reduce their rates.

As evidenced by this administration -- government is no longer government -- it just political bribery and black mail. I'm all for reform and change but not by bigger and more governement. Government should be stopping the current corrpution and misuse of many current programs. Creating more just perpetutes the growing problem of abuse. Please have the courage to VOTE NO!!! 2000 plus pages -- do you really know what is in thee?????

Please do not vote for this health care legislation. Health care is not a right, it is a good that must be purchased by responsible Americans. This bill is clearly unconstitutional. I will actively campaign against anyone voting for this bill. I will also contribute to any candidates who oppose representatives that vote for this bill.

you can't take away our rights & make us pay for someone who hasn't worked as we have. This is against our BILL OF RIGHTS The house can't do this & we need to impeach our so called president. He isn't for the people of the USA. The gov't is suppose to work for us , not us working for them.

This bill will further deepen our recession. Healthcare can be improved with small changes - not this huge government takeover.

I don't have health insurance, but when I get a job after college I will. I don't want to pay too much so people who aren't working or trying to improve can have health care. Survival of the fittest. Another attempt by misguided do gooders that will leave hard working Americans footing the bill for undeserving slackers.

I believe that this bill is unconstitutional and I don't want the government ramming it down the throat of me or my family. I believe that it should be an individual's choice and an individual's right for us as American's to decide when and how our healthcare will work for our family. The government is entirely too big and it's time for them to down size, save money for America and the hard working taxpaying American's. In other words, leave hard working American's alone and let them make their own decisions. The U. S. Government should stop making choices for us. It's time for all American's to stand up and tell the politicians in Washington that we are tired of them lining their pockets with money, trips, and special deals from special interest groups. It's time for them to be accountable. It's time to make them accountable and vote them out or office for not doing what the American people sent them to Washington to do. They should also have to be under the same social security system as the rest of us American's and not have their own sweetheart deal that they voted in for themselves. There would not be a problem with social security if they had to come under the same social security system as the rest of us. Also, there should be term limits. This would keep the politicians from getting to comfortable in Washington. They could go there, do the job that the American people voted them to do and know that they only had a certain time to get the job done. This would keep them from getting too comfortable in Washington and get the job a hand done. They should be patriots for America and do what is right for America and the American people.

My daughter is a breast cancer survivor because she has good insurance that let her go to Cleveland Clinic for care instead of staying with her doctors in New York State. I do not believe she would be alive today if she had this new insurance.

The government just got exposed for a 91 billion dollar "Back Taxes" bill that is owed by them! With this out in the world of political facts, how in the hell could anyone give a "yes vote" on something that is bigger than John Wayne, but yet, being sneaked through a back door? We don't even know what the entire bill states, and for who the special deals were made! NO! NO! NO! NO! VOTE NO if you still want to be of a DEMOCRACY instead of a DICTATORSHIP! Artie in Utica!

I have not talked to anyone that wants this. And why are we tacking on the education bill? I had to pay for my college with loans. Tax payers should not have to pay for other people college.
