There are too many things in this bill that go against what this country was founded on. I agree that we need to get a grip on the high cost of health care, but this is not the way. Please vote NO on this bill.REPORT COMMENTS

I lived in the UK for 10 years with a debilitating pain in my stomach. Over and over, I was told I must be depressed and that I was making it up. Ten years on, fortunately (or not), I developed cysts, with their removal (and waiting 5 months on a wait list for that), they also discovered the cause of my stomach pains. I lost 10 years of my life to the UK healthcare system. Even asking to pay, they said I could not do that as I did not have a private plan. America - VOTE NO... Or else, things will be far worse than you can ever imagine. This is not based on fear. This is based on first hand experience of the UK healthcare system. America has the very best PREVENTATIVE HEALTHCARE - yes, Americans have to pay but you also have choice. You don't get that in the UK. VOTE NO -REPORT COMMENTS

Let me add my disdain and disillusionment to the growing voice across the country regarding this nationalized health care plan. Please in the overall interest of the US population, especially those who pay taxes regardless of the level of income, vote NO. This will only continue to put an ever growing burden on tax payers, small business, and companies that are already now out-sourcing much of their production overseas due to the large disparity of paying American workers compared to those in other countries. Please vote NO! And continue to encourage any and all US representatives and senators to oppose this bill.REPORT COMMENTS

I am convinced this 3000-page reform will increase costs, and reward bad choices. Reform IS needed to reduce cost, and to improve access. Reduced costs will come when individuals are rewarded for good choices. Access for uninsurable people should be guaranteed and subsidized by government. Perhaps a "lifetime maximum out-of-pocket" should trigger government subsidies for those whose healthcare costs come more from bad luck than bad choices. (Not to mention, the obvious: The US cannot afford another open-ended entitlement. Do the math.)REPORT COMMENTS

Congress is spending most of their time vilifying insurance companies much as they have the banking industry, when it is Congress that writes the rules for each. Seems we would spend time correcting medical cost, liability reform and portability first! If they did that first, I bet you'd see insurance cost come down.REPORT COMMENTS

Overall this bill is about preserving all the bad things about our health care system and destroying all the good things. For example - where is tort reform? All we have to do is let the market forces continue...prices would come down. If this passes this will secure the problem - and we will have a system where the Govt and the Insurance companies will partner such as AmTrack, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Post Office - all which are or will go broke - same will happen here - but now it will bankrupt the entire country. You have seen that any government cannot run things well. Federal, State or Local - they all run out of money. Look at California now issueing I.O.U's. Personal Repsonsibility is the solution.REPORT COMMENTS

Please vote NO on this healthcare bill!! !!! It has been proven that the government has no business sense to run anything, every program is broke and we continue to borrow more money, with no way to pay back. We will be taxed more and our health care polices that are already in place will increase in premiums, mean while we continue to work our butts off to afford inflation. What the heck is going on????REPORT COMMENTS

Our current deficit should prove that the government can't run anything well. Just look at what's happened in these last two years with the bail outs and the sky rocketing deficit, which will go higher if this bill is passed (do they really think we are so stupid we don't know that costs will go up?). Fix what's wrong with health care but don't force everyone(with the exception of Congress)into government run health care. If the government knows there is fraud, and waste in Medicare why can't they fix that? Because it's a government run program, that's why! The American people keep saying no to this health care bill, but Congress doesn't care because apparently it's all about what their Party wants and not the people who elected them to office. It has become increasingly clear that they care only about their party, power, and being re-elected. I will vote NO for anyone running for re-election in November who votes yes for this bill.REPORT COMMENTS

If this health care bill is passed it'll be the first major step in the destuction of your constitutional rights. The first time the government gave themselves the right too tell the American citizen ,you have to do something against are will, or we will fine you. God bless us all.REPORT COMMENTS
