If I don't do my job and refuse to work as a team with my co-workers I no longer have the privilege of employment. Neither should you. Further more, after you refused to come to an agreement and taxes were raised we lost 20% of our paychecks. Jesus only requires 10% for tithe. My husband and I are both full time 15 hours college students (21&23 yrs old) and work 25 hours a week each. Yet you and the president decided to tax us at 20% of our income, while there are people who are on welfare who get iPhones, free health insurance, paid rent, food stamps, and all the other wonderful things the government decides to hand out to people who are mostly homeless because of drug addiction, instead of college students who have never done a drug in their lives and are trying to better the community and the nation. I will start trying to better the nation by getting rid of the people in office who refuse to do what they were HIRED BY US to do.REPORT COMMENTS

When I recieWhen I receive a work-order for an issue that is deemed a "high priority," I have customers that are counting on me to be the subject matter expert to fix the issue, I don't drag my feet to say ?I will get it done whenever.? I do everything within my power to correct the problem and if I don't have an answer to fix the problem, I can't sleep at night, knowing that I failed to do my job. I am sure that anyone out there who provides services to customers understand how I feel. If i had a co-worker on my team that didn't have this basic work ethics, trust me I would do every thing with power to have them replaced. Dems and Reps in Congress, all you guys need to be ?FIRED!? The god complex in government is mind boggling. I am registered Democrat, but frankly both parties disgust me with the consistent, constant finger pointing and inability to actually work across party lines to get things accomplished. The issue is that you have the president and Democrats pointing fingers at the Republicans as being the source for things not getting done, but all while they believe their 'compromises' are sound and where they need to be. The Republicans are the same way, John Boehner walking around like everything he proposes is law, that he and his party have done everything right and it is the Democrats who need to budge. So neither can work towards middle ground on not only the budget, but any issue. And yet their inability to get stuff done, the bargaining chip is to make cuts that do not affect them, but affect us Americans. The inabilities of government, both sides, will stop funding for the people who need it the most, will eliminate jobs and put people on unemployment, will cause serious issues that cannot just be undone in a day. Every politician is getting rich. They make substantial money when you compare it to most middle class Americans. And for many, there is money coming in elsewhere. But there is a reason that we have government officials who have made this a career for decades. The money is good. If they vote against party lines, they risk losing that paycheck. I believe that push comes to shove, no politician is going to do anything to jeopardize their position, but the do have the safety net of knowing their job is secure until the next voting cycle comes around. So right now we have a bunch of politicians, who I heard on the news on Thursday, they all went home for the weekend already, and this latest sequester is now happening. Now I think of sequester, I think of a jury, forced to stay together in a space and deal with coming up with a decision. Frankly speaking, government should not have been allowed to leave, and instead, been forced to stay in DC to work this out around the clock. Some may say that this can't happen in a day, but maybe if THAT was something that was looming, maybe some of these politicians would have thought about fixing this well before now. Also, as far as playing with other people's lives as the consequence to their actions, the simple solution in my opinion: anyone in government involved in having to come up with this decision on the budget should have only one thing dangled in front of them as the consequence for not coming up with a solution in time : their paycheck. With a 6-figure salary per year, our officials I assume have enough stashed away to live on. They should have been punished for not doing their job, and since they can't be let go, fired, like anyone from any other company would be if an employee was not doing their job, then the next thing to do is take their pay away from them. And I am not talking withhold and then give back when they come up with a solution. I am taREPORT COMMENTS

I and many others will lose our jobs, one friend will have to move into her parents home (74/80), single mom, 46, with two children, another collegue told her two college children she will not be able to help with their tuition, and must quit school if you don't fix this....antoher family, with a special needs child will lose the support services for this child's care.....okay... times this by say 12,000,000 other storys of doom and you all have the American People, the people who put their faith in you to navigate the world you wished to take the helm for....you all have a great nights sleep.
