Congress has only one true function and that's to ensure the government keeps functioning. They have neglected their duties and yet suffer no consequences. I believe a change is necessary for the welfare of our country and its progression. Thomas Jefferson was right in his assumptions about Congressman that have been office to long. It's time for a change and we should utilize our voice to make it known that we are not happy with their performance. Their position is a privilege and they have turned it into a right with comprehensive benefits and full time pay coupled with poor performance.
