It is high time that we implement this declaration, as other nations have done. Injustices continue to be done to our Native American peoples every day and while this is not the end of what needs to be done in the name of justice, it is, at least, a fair beginning. Signing this declaration makes a statement that our government is obligated to live by and a starting point to see justice done. When one is oppressed, none of us is free. When one is treated injustly, the injustice is felt by all. When one is denied a voice and a presence, we are all silenced. We must remember that each person is our relation and treat him or her accordingly, with the care and respect that we would want for ourselves. Nothing else is justice.Jul 12th, 2010Someone from Pinckney, MI signed.

People of all nations have the right to be seen as they are...with dignity and respectability...yea loved...in their own grace with their creator....not judged and changed by societies who have told themselves that their system is better...this has not been proven so.....as governments created for the people and by the people....have determined themselves into businesses instead of governments and the rights of all men and the rights of the peoples of the earth to enjoy clean air...water and..minds has been sorely abused ....Roosevelt spoke of learning from each other....government being an experiment....This experiment...has failed ...Gravely....REPORT COMMENTS

It is easier to ignore or to tuck away the injustice that has been carried out in our Country. First Nations our proud of their county and our brothers and sister have defended our Country (The United States) in every war with little or no recognition. We carry ourselves with silent dignity. Now we ask to be heard we are the basic foundation of Justice of Liberty of Freedom and of Unity. Hear us now as we depend on you all to carry out the journey of integrity.
