You never hear of a child murderer getting the death penalty, yet the murderer of an adult does in many cases. How does this make sense? When a child is murdered he/she is robbed of many more years of life than an adult, and the death penalty law should be at least an equal law...at the least! An adult has had the chance of living a good part of his/her life, as a child has not even had his/her God-given chance! It is rare that a child murderer even gets life in prison! Why does it seem that the life of a child considered less important than that of an adult victim??? These inadequate sentences/injustices are sending out the wrong message, that the system doesn't value the lives of helpless little children, and this CONTRIBUTES to child abuse, neglect, murder! A system that fails to place the rights of innocent children ABOVE the "rights" of those who abuse/neglect/murder them it is no better than the "individuals" who rob them of their lives!Jul 9th, 2011Someone from Buckhannon, WV signed.

REALLY AMERICA .. we let these animals walk after 1-4 years to go out have other children and kill them to.? yet we sentence someone whos involved in drugs to 4Life sentences..
