As an American taxpayer I am opposed to the USA interfering with Syria's internal political problems. Using poison gas weapons is an issue that should be investigated thoroughly and addressed by the UN, not America. As a Nobel Peace prize winner, President Obama should be promoting diplomatic processes not warlike behavior. The USA should be addressing the humanitarian needs of the Syrian people who have fled Syria and are in refugee camps. Bombs of any kind, always manage to kill innocent people.Sep 9th, 2013Someone from Rio Vista, CA writes:

There shall be grave consequences, all you have to do is look at the past history of America overseas in undeclared wars and declared. If you really want to help and are serious about this as I am, work with the UN and seek diplomacy. Haven't we learned anything in all theses years? I urge you for the people of Syria and America don't make another horrible tragic mistake like previous Presidents. You?d be better off sending the S10 billions dollars speculated (for war) towards food and aid which the Syria people desperately need.REPORT COMMENTS

I hope Congress votes no to a military strike on Syria, and I hope so much President Obama abides by their decision. If they vote yes, and the President proceeds, I can only hope this doesn't lead to a greater war instead of helping the Syrian people who are suffering.REPORT COMMENTS
