Congress needs to show the people that it works for them NOT the corporations.

Don't award any more contracts to ANY oil companies until they can show they have what it takes to clean up the possible disaster: money on DEPOSIT and fleets to distribution NON-TOXIC clean up of the mess!

They have destroyed our Gulf, along with thousands of lives and livelihoods. If this was in their water it would be stopped. And why in the world is BP denying other MAJOR skimming boats help?!?! BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT THE TRUTH TO COME OUT!

Use every last penny of BP dollars to clean this mess up--to the extent it can be. Change our oil policies.

Let's show that "We the people" still means something in this country, instead of Corporate strongholds.

I am incredibly frightened by how much power BP has exhibited over our Government agencies and the media blackout they've engineered. I'm not impressed that they ignored our EPA agency to find an alternative to Corexit and cease using it and have not been criminally charged yet.

I ma highly disappointed in the government of this country. Why have you not taken control of this situation, done what was right, and then send the clean-up bill to BP. You are not representing the interests of the American people, the world community, or this planet. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. How can we celebrate Independence Day when we are no longer independent?

Lets have some laymen terms here to break this down. The EPA has lost sight of the big picture. Here is an example: A site used to burn chemical treated woods as energy. Not the same but will give you a picture. They are allowed to burn a certain number of particles. Now, another plant can be put up a few miles down the road, with the same allotment of chemical particles in the air. Again, another and another and another. All allowed the same allotment of particles. Not once has the overall chemical particle released into the air taken into consideration. So what standards are any Petroleum company held to? Time to put this all in "check", including those that write the policies regarding the quality of our land.

Please consider their record of violations before you trust them again to "do the right thing" when it comes to safety. Thank you for your time and attention with my note.

Just judge their actions by what would happen if you personally had done what they did. If you would be prosecuted, then so should they. Do the right thing. Start the end.
