Texas service center is too slow compared to Nebrasca service center. Why?

I agree with that someone from New Britain, CT very much. We are very well-educated (I got my master degree in the US), hard-working people, have contributed so much in terms of taxes for so many years. However, it seems we have to wait for the Green Card the longest. We abide by law to a fault, but still, the refugees can get immediately, and start getting welfare which we pay a lot as well. I have been through this long and painful process for so many years, it is just not fair. However, we hope the people working at Texas Service Center can understand what we have to pay (not only money, but time and emotional rollercoaster) for getting this Green Card. Lots of people got GC, but they don't even work or they don't even need it. We have to work really hard, as we can't afford to lose jobs. it will be fair if any legal immigrant has paid taxes at least 5 years or 10 years like me. Some people come to this country for a few days or a few months (come here to deliver their babies or declare they have no religious freedom, lots of cases like this are not even true.) and then they can get Green Card, and start using the welfare for which we contribute a lot, but we are punished for keeping paying for others' welfare, and they don't even work. As most other developed countries such as Britain, Canada, Austrilia, have changed rules for immigration as time goes by. Immigration laws need to be updated, as we are in digital age.

It is incredible how far behind TSC is, and how they continue to push back dates for applications.

Its a utter shame that USCIS delays processing green card applications for such long periods. People have personal life too and aspirations outside their job. This is now like a modern age slavery where.inspite of being highly competitive, educated, law abiding, we still have to keep waiting and keep filling up forms to continue our jobs for day to day survival and can't travel outside US with freedom, can't buy household goods of choice. Can't plan to meet sweet parents, brothers, sisters. Please stop intake of more people on visa if US doesn't need more people. We were hired by your companies, your customers to work here then why do we need to wait in dilemma for 10-15 years and spoil our lives. Why should we pay the penalty for mistakes citizens of this country make. Either provide a decision in time or clearly tell the timelines or stop intake. Why to keep people in limbo? We are human too.
