Our military is deserving of only the best. The way they are treated is criminal. Their physical, mental and emotional health along with financial security should be a priority for this country. Government officials should be ashamed and these kind of special treatment should be stopped. We need to balance the budget and save money but not at the expense of our men and women that protect each and everyone here and abroad. We should limit the terms that they can serve in congress. pay that is given to Congress men and women that serve. They should be paid according to the time spent in Congress.REPORT COMMENTS

No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 50% of their pay on retirement. While Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full-pay retirement after serving one term. It just does not make any sense. Nor do I agree that our firefighters, police officers, county workers should be receiving 80% of their pay in retirement. It is time for ALL to take responsibility for their own retirement and pass the 28th Amendment!REPORT COMMENTS
