This isn't just about six-day delivery. This is about the retiree health care funding, which was designed to do nothing less than destroy the post office and let UPS and Fedex take over. No privatization!! Rescind the 2006 law and stop trying to destroy an American institution. A truly evil plot. -

The problem is at the upper level, middle level and front line supervision. The post office has always been a day late and a dollar short when it comes to business. Because you have people making decisions that do not know how to run a business. Stupid is as stupid doesREPORT COMMENTS

Stop stripping down America! ...and don't take more jobs away. Let them fund the pension fund normally and they can pay for themselves. Bring back common sense to our government!REPORT COMMENTS

Please continue 6 day delivery. 5 day delivery will elimanate thousands of jobs. 4 members of my family will lose their jobs if this goes through. Urge the USPS to make cut backs in higher ups' bonuses, etc. Use common sense and keep 6 day delivery!REPORT COMMENTS

Reducing delivery to 5 days a week will also cost thousands of jobs - people who work that one day a week when the regular carriers are off, people who deliver when the regualr carrier is on vacation, people who cover the route when the regular carrier is ill or unavailable due to family emergency. Overtime will be higher than the PMG believes when it comes to delivering mail on the Tuesday following a Monday holiday. Money will be wasted to renegotiate contracts in existence based on the current 6 day delivery. PLEASE think this through in a thorough manner, and let reason and sanity prevail! What the PMG recommends isn't the most sound solution, and too many people will be negatively impacted by the end result!REPORT COMMENTS
