It is inhumane to expect that an individual will demonstrate humane behavior while serving a life without possibility parole, when not allowed conjugal visits. Sexually frustrated people have to have some sort of release. With the exception of sexual predators who are serving life sentences, those prisoners who are married should be allowed to have conjugal visits. I believe there will be a marked difference in violence in the prisons due to a marked reduction in frustrated prisoners. Also, reinstating conjugal visits will reduce the stress on those men and women who are tasked with dealing with the inmates on a daily basis. We need family visits to keep our families intact. Although the offenders have committed crimes, they are still human beings and should be treated as such. It would help so many prisoners and family who are hurting because the visits are so short and the time they could spend together would make everyone happier.. Isn't that what we want in life..
