This is a clear cut scenario for the federal budget. As well as giving r country a chance to show that we still believe in humans. Granted there are some inmates that do not deserve to be in a productive society. But there are MORE that do and I believe that are ready. Moreover you have more families which are single parent homes due to incarceration of a loved one that really could benefit from have their loved one home. Looking at the pro's & con's just from an average single parent with a full time job this would be more logical for everyone. Thank you.REPORT COMMENTS

I believe there are other options in putting together a Federal Parole system that will greatly benefit the public: Not just in safely protecting the public, but in keeping families together, making sure we have a better functioning inmate that goes back in to society, but also huge cost savings to taxpayers. Rehabilitation programs, the use of technologically appropriate ankle bracelets and other possibilities need only be explored. Far too many Americans are tired of this type of torture and exploitation within our own borders. We have to start somewhere and we have to start now.REPORT COMMENTS
