I've seen firsthand the agony these horses endure all in the name of "winning." Forty years ago, I watched a horse come off a trailer and immediately go down on its knees in pain. Still the abuse goes on. It's time to stop it NOW.REPORT COMMENTS

That we must petition to stop abject animal abuse, is appalling. Shame on anyone who will lie to continue this barbaric torture.REPORT COMMENTS

This is a disgusting practice. Deliberately causing injury and pain to any living being for the sake of "show" (or any other reason, actually) is just sadistic and barbaric, and should never be encouraged by anyone.REPORT COMMENTS

The barbaric things humans do to animals for their own entertainment sicken me...and this is truly a barbaric practice that causes needless pain and suffering to these beautiful animals. It must be stopped IMMEDIATELY!REPORT COMMENTS

Even a non-horse person can clearly see the inhumanity resulting from such cruel and painful practices. Sadly, the kind and gentle nature of the Tennessee Walking Horse has made soring a standard of the show industry for far-too-many years, as the horses put up with it, trying to please their trainers. Such practices need to be eradicated now!REPORT COMMENTS
