It makes me sick that these practices still continue and people think their gates look good. This is a disgrace to the horse world and it makes me sick that we need a petition to congress to get real action to stop it.

Please end the torture of this ridiculous crime against animals. This is inhumane and should NOT be allowed. Especially at this day in age, this should be common sense. Stop this act that is done solely in the name of human entertainment. Pain and suffering is NOT entertainment. Please use common sense and and the walking horse industry. It's obvious that NO horse walks that was normally. The only way to get a horse to do such things is out of pain and fear. You have the power to stop this abusive competition. Thank you for your efforts.

These horses suffer with gag bits, cut and set tails and are confined to stalls because of the big, heavy shoeing jobs. ENOUGH! DO SOMETHING ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have owned Tennessee Walking Horses for over 35 years. Their natural gait is a thing of beauty and joy to ride. These barbaric methods of increasing their natural gait, simply to win a prize, is disgusting. Please stand up for these amazing animals who have no voice of their own.
