My ex-wife has called DYFS on me at least once a year for the last 10 years. I eventually got charged with child abuse over a couple of red marks my daughter had from a spanking. The prosecution lied on the charge saying she was bruised and had swelling. What a complete joke that was... I looked at their so-called evidence and all it was were red marks. When I was charged I was told it was because of the DYFS history. What history! Anytime they came to my home, the cases were dismissed! My ex-wife only did this to get control of the kids whom I had primary custody of. It's been one big nightmare. She has temporary custody, but I fear when I go back to court for custody, DYFS will be in her corner. The woman was barely in their lives prior to all this. They need to either put forth legislation to ban spanking or define clearly what is considered abuse. I have had over 20 calls on me from ex boyfriends, disgruntled friends, my husbands ex's and so on. If you fight with anyone these days you get called on! I had a call on me for a window screen that had a rip in it. I had a call about a dirty stroller (it was our outdoor stroller we kept the good one inside. I had a call on me because I often had company throughout the day (they thought it must be drug dealing or partying!) I had a call on me once because my friend had spanked her kid and then got in her car. Someone seen it and told them the license plate. They seen it was her but she said she didnt do it it must have been when I used her car. The caller clearly stated it was a woman with a daughter with pigtails. At the time I only had a BOY with a BUZZ CUT! They entered my house with police at 1:00am woke us all up and made him take off his pants to see if he had bruises! He is a NINE yr old they didnt find any but I am surprised he didnt!! Their goal is to take your child not protect the family!!!! I worry everyday, is someone going to call on me because they dont like me? I am fighting a visitation battle with my mother now and she was the first person to ever call on me. If she isnt allowed to see my kids she calls and makes up CRAZY LIES. She had a history of mental disease (psychotic episodes, psychosis and manic outbursts she talks to god and angels and sees dead people there is so much more to it!) SOmething needs to be done and background checks should be checked per every caller!!! I wish cps would do their jobs and take down the TRULY BAD PARENTS!!! MY GOD WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO WHEN YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS OVER YOUR CHILDREN WHEN IT COMES TO CPS!!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

please help the inocent parent who has their children robbed from them by cps with false allegations, anybody can call cps and tell lies about you and there is no investigation, there is no proof, there is no evidence that i ever abused my son, on hearsay im guilty of a crime i never commited. my son was robbed from me when he was 10 he is 18 now his child hood has been shattered he is already in therapy working on healing his pain ,the trauma my son suffered from the people that call themselves children protectors, that is so far from the truth. i never regained custody of my son because i lost my job i lost my home, i lost my car, and i almost lost my mind then cps sent my son 3000 miles away to live this broke my heart i was devastated, cps is destroying families. they are doing the work of the devil, and i hope everyone of them burn in hell.REPORT COMMENTS

DYFS came into our lives due to a call from the school nurse that "The mom is too thin" really! My oldest has had substance issues and ended up in the hospital, so the came again. They went to my other children's school and then lied to me about it (a school gossip told me, how horrifying) They immediately cleared my husband and I (after long invasive interviews) and promised to transfer our son's case to the the 'Family Services Division', never happened. They came every week for two years! I only got rid of them because they showed up on my oldest's 18th birthday and I told her to get the hell off of my property and never come back. Years before I had reluctantly called them, with three other witnesses, to report a child that was being molested by her own father. After interviewing the 4 of us (1 a highly respected paramedic), she called back and told me "We do not find this serious enough to warrant an investigation." Turns out, the sicko's mother worked for the county. A few years later the father died of an overdose and the girls came clean and told her mom's family that he had molested her for years. DYFS, DCP, DCF, no matter how you say it is a corrupt, overreaching, completely incompetent department who tears good families apart and ignores the cases that seem to actually require work.REPORT COMMENTS

Dyfs is nothing but a BULLY yet we are teaching our children not to be Bullys. DYFS helps all the wrong people ( like the ones on drugs and criminal back rounds) Yet a single parent trying to make it in this world looses her children. I have bent so far backwords fo thoes dame people it was not funny I jumpped trough so many dame hoopes it was not funny. we took ure kids now we will givem back but u need to pay for day care ( WTF) So I had to quit my job got my kids back lost my house went to live with parents up here they come u cant afford ure own place and u dont have a job lets take the kids again. This******made me so sick they bullied me so bad I wound up singing my rights over on my children I so wanted to just kill my self because I could not win with thoes dame people. So if you are married, or do drugs or have a bad backround u can abuse ure kids or do what ever but dame skippy u a single mom you r ****ed trust me I ement many O ya I miss my children every day but when they are 18 i have all the papers to show them so there u go DYFS I have 6 and 7 more years this happen back in 2005 did not end till the end of 2007 :( I will never forgetREPORT COMMENTS

NJDYFS is a totally corrupt agency. They WILL lie, make false accusations, submit false evidence to a court and tamper and change results of tests and evaluations and threatened you in an attempt to steal your children for money. My daughter and I were in NJ on a day trip and while we were there i ran into an aqaintence who I ended up having an argument with. The police were called by his girlfriend and I ended up in the the hospital because I became so upset that I fainted. While at the hospital the police called dyfs and they began an abuse and neglect case against me for no reason! They took my daughter away from me and tried to use trivial things I had done like home school my daughter and miss one well care visit because I was out of state caring for my mother after a surgery against me to prove my" neglect" even when these things did not occur in NJ and we are residents of another state. It took me 8 months to get rid of these vultures and even after my daughter was safe with me in our home state NJDYFS still tried to control things and get my state dcf to force services on us that we didn't need and to get my daughter's father to take her away from me. These soulless creatures completely traumatized my daughter and they must be stopped from abusing their power and violating innocent people's constitutional rights.REPORT COMMENTS

After a false accusation from my troubled 16 year old, DYFS has entered my life, and made rediculous recommendations for therapy that I do not need. Needless to say, this agency has caused our family financial strain, and stress. This country is not based on the system of "guilty until proven innocent", so why does this agency have the right to do this to good parents? Moreover, why does this agency have the right to judge? They ignore people's rights, lie, and deceive- all to maintain their importance. All I know is that Somerset N.J. DYFUS is an agency that from what I have read fits the description of tearing apart families, deceptively, wasting time, bringing up issues that were already resolved and using them to make judges so overwhelmed and confused that unless you have an excellent attorney you are in for a lossing battle. You can jump through every hoop they place in front of you but you will never win, they will find a way to discredit positive reports or completions of programs by simply stating they believe you lied through it?...What is the sense in sending parents to programs and professionals when they don't take their recommendations when positive?. This agency needs to be fully investigated, our precious children are in danger of having their emotional well being crushed by these people who say they protect children.
