Horse meat is toxic because of the fact that these are not horses with the only purpose of being slaughtered like cows. The horses being sent are pets that are given several different substances that are not to be meant for horses meant for human consumption, including bute which is highly common. Please let them live the life that they long for, to be free, & free from the unconsionable threats against them. Despite what some people think, it is the owners and lovers of horses who should have the say, people who do not have a vested interest in horses can hardly have any idea of what they are saying when they support horse slaughter.
