Horses made our country great. They deserve respect and care and love and understanding. They should not be used for food, ever! Horses are magnificent animals capable of love and devotion....to transport them anywhere for food is horrid and cruel...something our country should never, ever, do if we want to consider ourselves civilized. What's next if we don't enact laws to protect them? "Trigger" for dinner? How about our other pets...dogs and cats?
