This is the worst kind of thinly-veiled ideological censorship of studies that challenge the motives and actions of politicians. Political science receives $11 million dollars in funding out of the NSF's total budget of $7 billion. That's 0.1% - that's right, one tenth of one percent - of total funding for the sciences. Eric Cantor wants me to believe that that .1% is the difference-maker between finding a cure for cancer and not? This is not a zero-sum game - this research benefits everyone, especially policy-makers!REPORT COMMENTS
