My baby was diagnosed with torticollis at 4 months. Being my first child it took me awhile to realize he didn't just have a normal newborn neck. His doctor wouldn't even noticed if I hadn't done the research. I read about torticollis and took him. Thankfully it was fixed through months of physical therapy and no helmet was needed.REPORT COMMENTS

My son had seen several doctors and none of them noticed his miss shaped head and crooked neck. I was reading a book when I discovered the term, torticollis. That's when I realized that we had an issue that needed to be addressed. Physical therapy helped my son because I was able to catch it early. Parents need to be informed and doctors need to check babies for this condition at their check ups.REPORT COMMENTS
