We all realize that HSV is something that most people have in the world but the amount of people who don't know they have it lend a helping hand to the negative stigma that causes many people with HSV 1 and or 2 to commit suicide and cause bodily harm. The stigma also encourages behavior that lends to the spread of this infection. We get that the FDA may not see the urgency in changing aproval methods and or helping in finding a vaccine for HSV but the people are talking. We need your help. We cannot do this alone. We will continue to suffer!! WE need this to be an urgent matter to you because it is to us. Please start testing again. PLEASE!! We need this medication. People with HSV will benefit and people who do not have it will too. PEP and PREP are doing great things for the HIV and AIDS community. As someone with a weakened ammune system, I can not risk getting HSV-2. Unfortunately, the CDC does not recommend HSV-testing as part of regular STD testing. As a result, many Americans have symptoms, do not recognize them for what they are and, subsequently, this lifelong disease has touched more lives and spread faster than any other time in history. As a result of the CDC's negligence, individuals who believe themselves to be STD free, are spreading this disease like wildfire. By blocking a medication that could curb the spread, you are certainly doing more harm than good. It borders on criminal neglect. The fact that oxy can be prescribed to minors, but this medication is being denied to millions of sufferers is absurd and legally suspect.REPORT COMMENTS
