My wife has been suffering from Fibromyalgia for YEARS - the manmade drugs that are available DO NOT HELP HER! All of the states that have medical Marijuana availalbe have not turned into drug havens! Let's get on with this - tobacco AND alchohol are both more addictive and more dangerous to us/society... if we can have them... then we should be able to take advantage of this to see if if can help! It is proven - POT doesn't lead to harder drugs any more then cigs/or alcohol - which are BOTH proven to be HIGHLY addictive... ask any smoker or alcoholic how easy it is to NOT smoke or drink.. the old UNSUBSTANTIATE reasons for not allowing Marijuana to be used responsibly should have no association to/with this issue... no proof... I don't want to hear them any more! Just because it is illegal(again from unsubstantiated claims) doesn't mean it must/should stay illegal! You have your own opinions as what is good for the country. the fact is kentucky has the highest supporters as a percentage in the kentucky. were ready for it and if you didnt recieve campaign money from drug companies you might be behind this petition to. This is the american peoples country not yours to do its bidding it's a democracy not a tyranny. look at the statistics and make a decision for your constituents or they might in the end get the know how and trump your opinion and you lose your seat due to lack of better understanding of commonality and freedom in this country to decide for ourselves what is best for our country.REPORT COMMENTS

i am going through chemo. i am nauseated everyday. i lost my job and cannot attend college. i believe cannibus could really benefit my life, you have no idea how terrible it is until you go though it. i have lost relationships with loved one and friends. i live in poverty because i cant have a job without calling in sick every day with nausea and vomiting. and if you think about it, how many people are unemployed because of this. i have tried every medication out there, and nothing seems to help. as a last resort i would ike to try cannibus to help me. please help me, im begging you. i dont know what else to do.REPORT COMMENTS

I support this petition. I have Fibromyalgia and suffer from constant pain, muscle spasms, muscle pain, nerve pain and much more. I have tried over ten different medications and most have made me sick. They also make you take other medications to counteract other ones. I have taken Marinol which is a form of medical Cannabis, But I found it to be less effective and took longer to work. Smoking Cannabis is instant and cheaper then Marinol. This medicine helps me with pain, burning feelings, muscle spasms and the most important sleeping. I wish the state of Kentucky would wake up and get on board with Medical Cannabis. It would help people with an alternative to other medicines. Also help the economy raise money for taxation. While lowering crime rate and help against the drug war. If Kentucky does not adopt a Medical Cannabis Law soon, I think people like myself will move to another state that will, causing a drop in KY\'s revenue. So please Kentucky adopt the program and start this state to a turn around.REPORT COMMENTS
