    I am a Bail Bondsman and have seen first hand that sometimes innocent people are forced to pleed guilty to something they did not do because there public defender scares them into taking a deal for example your looking at ten years if convicted but if you take the deal you will just be on probation for 2 years. Even if you are innocent it is not worth the gamble who wants to take a chance like that not only that public deffenders only get paid if you are found guilty of something so you know they are not looking out for your best intrest or well being.
