Hi , I am writing to ask you for your support for h-4 spouses work authorization.In all other countries dependents are allowed to work full-time.Many countries take this country as inspiration As you all one earnings are really insufficient for family of two adults and two kids.In the worst scenario if the H1b contractor felt sick ..what about their family what about their daily needs and the survival with the kids.The government say that dependents should not work.How cum a family can survive if really things doesn't go wellREPORT COMMENTS

I m on H4 , believe this we dont get respect in society not even in our family even though i m an experienced Engineer with master degree , people believes that i dont have that factor to get a job but they dont understand this rule is not letting us to live with respect and dignity . A lot of legal immigrant families including mine are suffering because of one spouse not being able to work due to H4 restrictions. Now, it has reached a stage where many are considering migrating to other countries such as Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia where the government does not restrict spouses to work.
