Please review and approve this bill (H4 work permit), comments are already closed by July 11. Lot of us have dependency on this rule, it should have already been done for people working here for more than 6 years, because they cannot be considered anything less than L1 visa people who have worked just 1 year outside of US. Not sure how 6+ years work (H1) in US can be considered less important than 1+ year (L1 visa) work outside of USA. Please expedite GC process for those who are here on H1 for more than 10 years: whole GC process for anybody working in USA for more than 10 years should be eliminated and they should be given EAD (they already waited for more than 4 years for GC since you cannot work after 6 years without Green card in progress, is 4 year not sufficient to consider them at par with L1-managers who get their EAD in 6 months?). I am on H1 from last 5 years and my wife is on h4 visa. She was well settled ana professional back in india but being on h4, she cant work and excel her skillset.
