It should be even 50/50 for mom and dad. Putting one parent in the hole by taking more then half of there paycheck and making it hard for them to survive is not in the best interest of the child. Allowing both parents to be equally involved in the raising, health, and education of the child is what is in the best interest of the child. Allowing the mother to produce receipts for the child expenses and then allowing the father time to pay that with in reason. Not devastate his pay and only let him see his kids every other weekend...Its for the kids not right?REPORT COMMENTS

As a twice divorced dad, I can attest to the misery of forced parental alienation imposed by arcane laws. Its not 1957 anymore. Both parents work and both parents raise the children. Its time the laws reflect that. Evenly split the time for the sake of all children. Simplify their lives and the divorce process. Most of the pain of divorce is caused by this unconstitutional imposition of parental alienation, worsened by financial gain for the parent with more time. Its time for real change in our nation's divorce laws. Let's do it for the children.REPORT COMMENTS

Parents are demanding change now! This has been going on for 12-15 years for some of us. Judges, lawyers and our entire court system is broken! The family court is responsible for breaking apart families! Fix family courts!REPORT COMMENTS
