Stop day light savings time. Waking up 1 hr earlier does not make people productive. And going to bed while there is still light outside is not greatREPORT COMMENTS

Daylight savings time negatively affects people's schedule and can be especially difficult for those who suffer from seasonal depression. In Northern parts of the country, it will get completely dark around 4:00 P.M. in the winter. For many people, it's dark when they go to work and already dark when they get home. It's bad enough that people are already stuck at home often due to severe cold and lots of snow.REPORT COMMENTS

This crazy law is especially ridiculous in southern states like Florida because when the summer days are sweltering and it doesn't get dark until 8 p.m. (approx), the "spring forward" time change adds an additional hour of heat and it's now 9 p.m.(approx) when the sun finally sets. Then when summer ends and the weather is beautiful and you want to make the days last as long as possible because it gets darker so much earlier, the "fall back" law hits and and instead of 7 p.m. twilight time, it's 6 p.m.. Seems very illogical and ridiculous.REPORT COMMENTS

If you cut off one end of a blanket and sew it to the other end, you still have the same amount of blanket. DST makes just as much sense. You still have the same amount of daylight no matter what time the clock says!REPORT COMMENTS

I think it should end because it gets dark so early that you have to use mire energy because we still have to work and continue our normal routine and more energy is being used to do this, for example more electricity for light. I have heard many say i the early darkness makes energy drain and you feel tired faster therefore we get less done. When it is cold and dark it makes most people sleepy. It needs to end.REPORT COMMENTS

It's not good for anyone's mental health. There is zero benefit to it, it's archaic and it's time to move along. Getting dark at 4pm in the winter is extremely depressing, causes more vehicular accidents and according to what I've read, even increases suicide rates. Sunlight is very important, and the extra hour that one might have, after a work day in an office, is very necessary. It does lightyears more harm than good. There is literally nothing beneficial to be gained at this point in time. It's one small and simple step toward a healthier 4 months for the nation.REPORT COMMENTS
